Pikeville's Williams Named NAIA Offensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Amon Williams of Pikeville (Ky.) raced his way to being named the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week.  He was selected based on his performance from October 21 - 27 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Amon Williams, Pikeville (Ky.) - SO – Running Back

• Set Appalachian Athletic Conference records for most rushing yards (380) and touchdowns (5 – 4 rushing, 1 receiving) in a game
• Set a Pikeville school record for most rushes in a game (39)
• Tied the AAC conference record for most rushing touchdowns in a game (4)
