WALESKA, Ga. - Taylor Jackson of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, while Kemorion Larkin of Point and Alex Hardy of Reinhardt are the Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the awards for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 16.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Kemorion Larkin - Point - Junior - Rochelle, Ga.

  • Recorded 15 total tackles (12 solo) in a 33-31 win over Bluefield.
  • Had 1 sack and 3 tackles for a loss.
  • This is his second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week
 Taylor Jackson - Reinhardt - Junior - Guyton, Ga.

  • Had a hand in all 6 touchdowns in Reinhardt's 41-35, double-overtime win over Pikeville.
  • Completed 15-of-27 passes for 266 yards and 4 touchdowns.
  • Ran the ball 14 times for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns.
  • This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Alex Hardy - Reinhardt - Freshman - Gainesville, Ga.

  • Went 5-fort-5 on PATs in the 41-35 double-overtime win.
  • Averaged 38.5 yards per punt (154 yards on 4 punts) and placed 2 inside the 20.
  • Had a long punt of 48 yards.
  • This is his first weekly honor of the season.
