Milligan's Geary Named NAIA Runner of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kirsten Geary of Milligan (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Geary was selected based on her performances from September 30 – October 6 and was chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

NAIA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week 

Kirsten Geary, Milligan (Tenn.) - JR

• Ran in the Pirate Cross Country Invitational
• Finished 10th of 209 runners in the 6k
• She recorded a time of 21:58.9 and was the first NAIA finisher in the meet, which helped solidify the team's fourth-place finish. The next NAIA finisher was her teammate, who posted a time that was about 51 seconds difference.
