Montreat's Ray Named NAIA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ali Ray of Montreat (N.C.) has been named the NAIA Women's Cross Country National Runner of the Week. Ray was selected based on her performance(s) from August 25 - September 1 and was chosen from a pool of conference/group nominees.

• Paced the Cavaliers, breaking her previous PR by nearly 34 seconds
• Finished 12 out of 104 runners in a field dominated by Division 1 runners
