Milligan, Montreat Place in Top 20 at NAIA Championship Meet

VANCOUVER, Wash. - Two Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) saw two teams in the top 20 and saw three earn All-American honors at the 2023 NAIA Women's Cross Country Championship Meet.

The race was held on Friday at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Championship Course in Vancouver, Wash.

Milligan placed fourth with a team score of 145 as three runners finished in the top 25. Meanwhile, Montreat came in 17th overall with 455 points.

Caitlin Dominy of Milligan was the top AAC individual finisher as she placed 14th with a time of 22:03.5. Hannah Brown of Milligan was 20th (22:17.1) and Ellen Mary Kearney of Milligan crossed the line 21st (22:19.0). All three earned NAIA All-American honors.

Carlyn Bobo was Montreat's top finisher, crossing the line in 72nd place with a time of 23:22.1.
