Week 5: AAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Ali Ray of Montreat is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 9.

Ali Ray - Montreat - Grad Student - Brownsburg, Ind.

• Placed 48th at the Live in Louisville Classic.
• Posted a 5K time of 18:52.6
• Helped Montreat finished 16th out of 41 teams.
• 383 runners competed in the event.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
