WALESKA, Ga. - Ellen Mary Kearney of Milligan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 2.

AAC Women's Runner of the Week
Ellen Mary Kearney - Milligan - Sophomore - Wirral, U.K.

• Won the Eli Cramer Invitational.
• Broke the school record in the 3-mile distance, besting the mark set by 2017 NAIA Cross Country runner-up Hannah Segrave.
• Crossed the line in 17:34.
• This is her third weekly award this season.
