Week 10: AAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Kira Rymer Attaway of Columbia International is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Sarah Sweet of Reinhardt and Kolbie Greene of Milligan are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the 10th edition of the awards for the 2022 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 6.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Kira Rymer Attaway - Columbia International - Senior - China Grove, N.C.

Averaged 4.29 kills per set and posted a .455 hitting percentage as CIU went 2-0 for the week.
Logged 18 kills in a 3-1 win over Bluefield
Had 12 kills in a 3-0 win against Kentucky Christian.
Had 1 assist, 3 digs, and 2 blocks on the week.
This is her third weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Sarah Sweet - Reinhardt - Graduate Student - Canton, Ga.

Averaged 6.30 digs per set as Reinhardt went 2-1 on the week.
Posted a high of 25 digs in a 3-1 loss against Milligan.
Finished with 63 digs and 8 assists.
This is her fourth weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Kolbie Greene - Milligan - Junior - New Market, Tenn.

Averaged 9.50 assists per set as Milligan went 3-0 on the week.
Posted a high of 40 assists in a 3-1 win against Reinhardt.
Had 95 assists in 10 sets.
Registered 2 double-doubles on the week.
Also had 1 kill, 1 service ace, 39 digs, and 2 blocks on the week.
This is her third weekly honor of the season.
