WALESKA, Ga. - Katie Dickey of Montreat is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Sarah Sweet of Reinhardt and Kolbie Greene of Milligan are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2022 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 2.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Katie Dickey - Montreat - Junior - Cape Coral, Fla.

  • Averaged 5.0 kills per set and posted a .326 hitting percentage as Montreat went 2-1 for the week.
  • Posted 17 kills in a 3-0 win over Kentucky Christian.
  • Had 45 kills, 15 digs, 5 service assists, and 9 blocks.
  • This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Sarah Sweet - Reinhardt - Grad Student - Canton, Ga.

  • Averaged 6.70 digs per set as Reinhardt went 3-0 on the week.
  • Posted a week high of 30 digs in a 3-1 win over Bryan.
  • Had 3 service aces on the week.
  • This is her second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Kolbie Greene - Milligan - Junior - New Market, Tenn.

  • Averaged 10.73 assists per set as Milligan went 2-1 on the week.
  • Posted a high of 43 assists twice this week - once in a 3-1 win against Bryan and again in a 3-1 loss versus Columbia International.
  • Had 118 assists in 11 sets.
  • Posted 2 double-doubles.
  • Also had 3 kills, 1 service ace, 49 digs, and 2 blocks on the week.
  • This is her first weekly honor of the season.
