Week 5: AAC Women's Outdoor Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Myesha Hall of Truett McConnell and Emma Johnson of Columbia International are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Outdoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 15.

AAC Field Athlete of the Week

Myesha Hall - Truett McConnell - Junior

  • Collected NAIA 'A' Standards in the long jump and triple jump at the Tennessee Invite.
  • Won the long jump with a leap of 6.05 meters
  • Was fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 11.96 meters.
  • This is her second weekly honor this season.


AAC Track Athletes of the Week

Emma Johnson - Columbia International - Graduate Student - Clover, S.C.

  • Collected NAIA 'A' Standards in the 200 and 4x100 relay at the Braves Classic.
  • Won the 200 with a time of 24.55.
  • Won the 4x100 relay with a time of 46.57.
  • Also won the 100 (11.99) and 100 hurdles (14.79).
  • This is her first weekly award this season.
