Week 1: AAC Women's Outdoor Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Myesha Hall of Truett McConnell and Morgan Johnson of Columbia International are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Outdoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 18.

AAC Field Athlete of the Week

Myesha Hall - Truett McConnell - Junior

  • Won the triple jump at the CAU Panther Track & Field Classic.
  • Currently ranks No. 1 in the NAIA in the event.
  • Posted a distance of 11.43 meters.
  • This is his first weekly honor this season.


AAC Track Athletes of the Week

Morgan Johnson - Columbia International - Sophomore - Franklin, N.C.

  • Placed seventh in the 100 hurdles at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Classic.
  • Posted a time of 15.54 seconds.
  • Time ranks fourth-best in the NAIA currently.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.
