54 Represent AAC as NAIA Scholar Athletes in Women's Track & Field

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday. The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) placed 54 student-athletes on the list.

Montreat led the way with 14 honorees, while Milligan followed with 12. Brenau and Truett McConnell each had seven made the list, while Tennessee Wesleyan placed six. Columbia International had four, Bryan three, and Point one.

The 2023 list features 1076 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
