Week 5: AAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Paige Manney of Tennessee Wesleyan and Anna Tastinger of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

This is the fifth and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2022-23 season.

AAC Field Athlete of the Week

Paige Manney - Tennessee Wesleyan - Junior - Athens, Tenn.

  • Recorded an NAIA 'A' Standard in the triple jump at the Samford Invitational.
  • Placed third in the triple jump, hitting an 'A' Standard with a leap of 12.31 meters.
  • Placed third in the high jump, clearning 1.63 meters
  • This is her second weekly honor this season.


AAC Track Athlete of the Week

Anna Tastinger - Montreat - Sophomore - Franklin, N.C.

  • Placed third in the 60 hurdles at the JDL College Team Challenge with a time of 9.83 seconds.
  • Posted a time of 1:05.96 in the 400.
  • This is her first weekly honor this season.
