Week 5: AAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Karen Kondo of Union is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 10.

AAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Karen Kondo - Union - Sophomore - Tokyo, Japan

• Helped Union to a 2-0 record on the week.
• Played No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, going 2-0 at both.
• Scored a 6-0, 6-0 win against Reinhardt.
• Teamed up with Rin Igarashi in doubles, and the duo won both matches 6-0.
• This is his first weekly honor this season.
