Week 3: AAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Mai Kitashita of Union is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 20.

AAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Mai Kitashita - Union - Senior - Lexington, Ky.

• Helped Union to a 7-0 win over Truett McConnell.
• Did not lose a single game in either her singles or doubles match.
• Won her singles match 6-0, 6-0.
• Teamed up with Liliana Drukerova to win their doubles match 6-0.
• This is his first weekly honor this season.
