Week 7: AAC Women's Swimmer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Samantha van Vuure of Milligan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the awards for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 30.

Samantha van Vuure - Milligan - Junior - Willemstad, Curacao

• Hit 3 NAIA 'B' cuts in a meet against Cumberlands (Ky.).
• Won the 200 back and in a 'B' mark with a time of 2:22.88.
• Hit 'B' cuts in the 200 free (2:12.92) and in the 50 free as part of the 200 free relay team (27.02).
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
