Week 1: AAC Women's Swimmer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Samantha Pepevnik of WVU Tech is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the first edition of the awards for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 14.

• Posted 2 individual first-place finishes and 1 second-place finish in a meet against Shawnee State.
• Won the 200 back (2:10.77) and 100 back (1:01.32).
• Took second in the 100 fly (1:02.68).
• Helped the 400 medley relay team to a second-place showing.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
