WALESKA, Ga. - They were the top two teams during the regular season, and they will meet for the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Tournament championship.
No. 1 Truett McConnell and No. 2 Tennessee Wesleyan each won their semifinal match to punch their tickets for the title game. Truett McConnell recorded a 5-0 victory over No. 4 Milligan, while Tennessee Wesleyan battled to a 2-1 win over No. 3 Reinhardt.
During the regular season, Truett McConnell and Tennessee Wesleyan played to a 2-2 draw on Sept. 14 in Athens, Tenn.
This time around, Truett McConnell will host the showdown on Saturday. Game time is 1 pm ET.
