AAC Places 112 on NAIA Scholar Athlete List

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes on Friday. The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) placed 112 on the list.

Reinhardt leads the way with 16 honorees with Truett McConnell and Tennessee Wesleyan following with 14 and 12, respectively. Bryan saw 11 make the list, while Pikeville placed 10 and Columbia International nine. Columbia and Montreat each had eight, Milligan seven, and Bluefield six. Kentucky Christian checked in with five honorees with Brenau, St. Andrews, and Union each landing two.

The 2023 list features 1,443 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
