WALESKA, Ga. - The field is down to eight in the 2023 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Tournament following two first-round games on Tuesday.

Both first-round games ended with a 1-0 result.

No. 9 Brenau needed a little extra time to get its win as Sarah Clark scored in the 102nd minute to send Golden Tigers past No. 8 Bryan.

Angeleena Waaland scored in the 29th minute, giving No. 7 Milligan all it needed to defeat No. 10 Pikeville.

The tournament resumes Saturday with four quarterfinal matches.
