Week 8: AAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Logan White of Montreat and JJ Aalbue of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

This is the eighth edition of the awards for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 23.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Logan White - Montreat - Sophomore - Surprise, Ariz.

• Had 10 saves and 2 shutouts on the week in helping Montreat go 2-0.
• Posted 3 saves in a 4-0 win over Columbia.
• Had 7 saves in a 1-0 win over Milligan.
• This is her second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week
JJ Aalbue - Montreat - Senior - Winona Lake, Ind.

• Had 3 goals in helping Montreat go 2-0 on the week.
• Scored twice in a 4-0 win over Columbia.
• Had the lone goal in the 1-0 win over Milligan.
• Accounted for both game-winning goals.
• This is her second weekly honor of the season.
