Week 4: AAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Amber McKinley of Columbia International and Jordan Myers of Columbia are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the awards for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 25.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Amber McKinley - Columbia International - Senior - Lawrenceville, Ga.
- Was a force on both ends of the field for CIU.
- Helped force a tie with Columbia as she scored a goal.
- Netted 2 of CIU's goals on the week.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Jordan Myers - Columbia - Junior - Aiken, S.C.
- Recorded 4 goals and 1 assist in helping Columbia to a 1-1-1 record on the week.
- Scored a goal in Columbia's 2-2 tie with CIU.
- Had a hat trick and an assist in Columbia's 5-0 win against Pfeiffer (N.C.).
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
