Cumberlands' Rittman Named NAIA Defensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emma Rittman of Cumberlands (Ky.) was selected as the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. She was selected based on performances from March 10-16 and are chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees.

Emma Rittman, Cumberlands (Ky.) - JR - Midfielder
- The junior midfilder was a staple in the Patriots defense last week as they picked up a pair of wins at home.
- Rittman was a force on draw controls, securing 22 of them, while also securing her 400th career draw control.
- Her role on the defensive side of the field, helped to hold, the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs to 33% on clears.
