WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - Reinhardt and Cumberlands are set to meet in the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament final as both won their semifinal contests on Friday.

The tournament is being held on the campus of Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky.

Top-seeded Reinhardt registered a 16-7 win over No. 4 seed Georgetown in the first semifinal match. Reinhardt got off to a fast start, owing an 8-1 lead after the first quarter. The Tigers never really threatened, but the Eagles never really pulled away. Madison Haney kept Georgetown in the game with 20 saves. Anna-Marie Gazzo led Reinhardt with four goals and two assists, while Macy Fulton dished out five assists. Kelly Sowa helped out with three goals. Maddie Diaz scored three times for Georgetown.

No. 2 seed Cumberlands raced to an 11-2 advantage and never looked back en route to the 26-5 victory over third-seeded Montreat. Morgan Tate posted six goals and an assist to lead the Patriot attack, while Anna Lobbezoo notched five goals and an assist. Mia Rask helped out with three goals and four assists.

The title game is set for Saturday at 5 p.m.
