Week 8: AAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Koral Hadac of Cumberlands and Kate Gauntlett of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the eighth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 15.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Koral Hadac - Cumberlands - Sophomore - Rosemount, Minn.
- Tallied 20 draw controls and had 10 groundballs as Cumberlands went 3-0 on the week.
- Caused 19 turnovers.
- This is her second weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Kate Gauntlett - Montreat - Senior - Dawsonville, Ga.
- Scored 7 goals in a 15-14 win over Georgetown.
- Fired 10 shots on goal out of a total of 11 shots.
- Eclipsed 200 career goals.
- Had 4 draw controls, 2 groundballs, and 1 caused turnover.
- This is her second weekly award this season.
