Cumberlands' Rittman Earns NAIA Defensive Player of the Week Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emma Rittman of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. She was selected based on their performances from March 25-31 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

Emma Rittman, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SO - Midfielder
- The four-time National Player of The Week adds a fifth honor to her name after getting it done for the Patriots on the defensive side this week.
- Rittman posted another record-breaking week with 12 points (eight goals, four assists), 11 caused turnovers, and two dozen draw controls.
- Helped Cumberlands (Ky.) hold their opponents to a 30.4% clear rate in the two wins last week.
