Week 6: AAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Koral Hadoc of Cumberlands and Anna-Marie Gazzo of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the sixth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 1.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Koral Hadac - Cumberlands - Sophomore - Rosemount, Minn.

  • Tallied 9 draw controls and had 10 groundballs as Cumberlands went 2-1 on the week.
  • Caused 6 turnovers.
  • Also scored 1 goal and had 1 assist.
  • This is her first weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Anna-Marie Gazzo - Reinhardt - Senior - Suwanee, Ga.

  • Tallied 12 points on the week in helping Reinhardt go 2-0.
  • Scored 3 goals against No. 1 Cumberlands, including the overtime winner.
  • Had 5 goals and 1 assist in an 18-6 win over Georgetown.
  • Had 1 groundball.
  • This is her first weekly award this season.
