WALESKA, Ga. - Madison Hasty of Reinhardt and Jillian Mello of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 4.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Madison Hasty - Reinhardt - Sophomore - Fayetteville, Ga.

• Made 11 saves in a 15-14 win over No. 2 SCAD Savannah (Ga.).
• This is her first weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Jillian Mello - Reinhardt - Graduate Student - Freeport, N.Y.

• Scored 6 goals in a 15-14 win over No. 2 SCAD Savannah (Ga.).
• Had 1 draw control on the week.
• Netted the game-winning goal with 2:15 left in the game.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
