Week 2: AAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Emma Rittman of Cumberlands and Anna Lobbezoo of Cumberlands are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 4.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Emma Rittman - Cumberlands - Sophomore - Pickerington, Ohio
- Recorded 1 groundball and had 10 draw controls in the 21-9 win over No. 4 Keiser.
- Caused 1 turnovers.
- Scored 4 goals on 5 shots on goal.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Anna Lobbezoo - Cumberlands - Sophomore - Jenison, Mich.
- Tallied 5 goals and 2 assists in Cumberlands' 21-9 win over No. 4 Keiser.
- Had 1 groundball and 5 draw controls on the week.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
