WALESKA, Ga. - The 2022 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament got underway Thursday with both higher seeds winning.
No. 3 seed St. Andrews defeated No. 6 seed Point 19-3, and No. 4 seed Montreat held off No. 5 seed Truett McConnell for a 25-22 victory.
The tournament is being held on the campus of Reinhardt in Waleska, Ga.
The three-day event resumes Friday with No. 1 seed SCAD Savannah taking on Montreat at 11 a.m. with No. 2 seed Reinhardt facing St. Andrews at 1 p.m.
