Castle Earns NAIA All-Tournament Honors; Milligan Places in Top 10, TMU 16th

SILVIS, Ill. - Kate Castle of Milligan earned All-Tournament Team honors at the 2023 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship as two Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) teams place in the top 16.

The tournament was held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.

Castle finished tied for seventh overall with a four-round score of 16-over 300. She was six strokes behind the individual champion MaKayla Tyrrell of Oklahoma City.

Milligan collected a top-10 finish as it landed ninth. The Buffaloes notched a four-round score of 1,255, one back of eighth-place Southeastern.

Truett McConnell finished 16th overall with a score of 1,293. Syklee November led the Bears individually as she finished 35th with a score of 315.
