AAC Places Four on WBCA NAIA All-America Team
WALESKA, Ga. - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced the 2024-25 NAIA All-America Team on Tuesday, and the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) saw four players honored.
Jaycie Jenkins of Milligan and Allie Stone of Pikeville earned WBCA NAIA All-America Team honors, while Rachel Bush of Pikeville and Semaj Clark of Milligan received honorable mentions.
All four were All-AAC First Team selections, with Stone collecting AAC Player of the Year honors.
Stone led the AAC in scoring at 21.9 points per game and was second in 3-point shooting with a 44.9 shooting percentage. She also averaged 3.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Jenkins finished second in the league in scoring at 20.8 points per game and led the AAC in field-goal percentage and 3-point shooting at 54.8 percent and 49.2 percent, respectively. She also averaged 7.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
Bush was the league's fourth-best rebounder at 8.3 per game and was fifth in field-goal percentage at 51.7 percent. She averaged 14.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
Clark was a solid, all-around player for Milligan, averaging 15.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. She dished out 3.7 assists per game and shot 47.4 percent from the floor.
