Week 9: AAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Ashley Starks of St. Andrews is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The league announced the award on Monday.
This is the ninth edition of the awards for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 29.
AAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Ashley Starks - St. Andrews - Junior - Manchester, Tenn.
- Averaged 25.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game as St. Andrews went 2-0 on the week.
- Netted a week-high of 26 points in a 75-55 win at Columbia International.
- Added 25 points in a 69-66 win over Tennessee Wesleyan.
- Shot 46.9 percent (15-of-32 shots) from the field and 46.3 percent (12-of-26) from 3-point range.
- Had 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 6 steals on the week.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
