WALESKA, Ga. - Nyla Moore of Brenau is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the awards for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 15.

AAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Nyla Moore - Brenau - Senior - Dacula, Ga.

• Averaged 23.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game as Brenau went 2-0 on the week.
• Netted 34 points in an 82-67 win at Bluefield.
• Shot 51.5 percent (17-of-33 shots) from the field.
• Had 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block on the week.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
