WALESKA, Ga. - Morgan Stamper of Pikeville is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the sixth edition of the awards for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 8.

AAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Morgan Stamper - Pikeville - Senior - Independence, Ky.

• Averaged 11.5 points and 18.5 rebounds per game as Pikeville went 2-0 on the week.
• Recorded 2 double-doubles.
• Scored 13 points and had 23 rebounds in an 89-51 win over Bluefield.
• Added 10 points and 14 rebounds in an 82-60 win over Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).
• Collected her 1,000th career rebound.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
