BILLINGS, Mont. - Reinhardt saw its season come to an end in the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship Opening Round as it fell to Rocky Mountain (Mont.) 63-44 on Friday.
Rocky Mountain used strong first and fourth quarters to distance itself from Reinhardt in picking up the win. The Battlin' Bears led 24-9 after the first, but the Lady Eagles outscored the hosts 26-20 over the second and third quarters to make it 44-35 heading into the fourth. However, Rocky Mountain put together a 19-9 fourth quarter to lock up the 63-44 victory.
Abi Haynes and Catherine Shope led Reinhardt in scoring 12 points apiece.
