Tennessee Wesleyan Picked to Win 2025 Softball Championship
WALESKA, Ga. - Tennessee Wesleyan is favored to win the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) softball championship, according to the AAC coaches' poll released Wednesday.
The poll was voted on by the softball coaches of the AAC.
Tennessee Wesleyan received five of 14 first-place votes, amassing 192 total voting points. Tennessee Wesleyan finished the 2024 regular season in third with a 21-7 conference record and advanced to the AAC Tournament championship game, earning a spot in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.
Reinhardt, who won the regular-season and tournament championships last season, is second with three first-place votes and 186 voting points. Johnson is a close third with three first-place votes and 185 voting points. Truett McConnell (two first-place votes, 168 points) and Brenau (one first-place vote, 160 points) round out the top five.

The AAC Tournament is set for April 28-May 2 at the Brickyard Ball Fields in Kingsport, Tenn. The top 10 teams will participate in the double-elimination tournament.
