Reinhardt's Loveless, Teems Collect NAIA All-America Team Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2024 Softball All-America teams as selected by the NAIA-Softball Coaches' Association All-America Committee, and the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) placed two players on the team.
Emily Loveless of Reinhardt earned a spot on the first team, while Alexis Teems of Reinhardt made the third team.
Loveless, a senior shortstop, led the AAC in home runs (15) and RBI (59) while posting a .439/.529/.838 slash line. She was also tops in runs scored (63) and second in total hits (76) and doubles (16) while also stealing 22 bases.
Teems, a junior outfielder, led the conference in hits (77) and was second in stolen bases (42). She recorded a slash line of .433/.454/.472. Teems drove in 19 runs while scoring 57 times.
Loveless and Teems helped Reinhardt to a 42-10 overall record and a 27-1 AAC mark to win the regular-season championship. The Eagles also won the AAC Tournament title and advanced to the NAIA Softball Opening Round.
