WALESKA, Ga. - Kyleigh Sanders of Truett McConnell and Haley Fethke of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards is set to be announced on April 8.

AAC Pitcher of the Week

Kyleigh Sanders - Truett McConnell - Senior - Cumming, Ga.

• Went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA on the week.
• Posted 2 complete-game shutouts.
• Allowed 5 hits and 5 walks in 12 innings pitched.
• Struck out 13 on the week.
• This is her second weekly honor this season.

AAC Player of the Week

Haley Fethke - Montreat - Junior - Leroy, Ala.

• Batted .476 in helping Montreat go 4-2 on the week.
• Had 1 home run, drove in 8 RBI, and scored 9 runs.
• Had 2 doubles in posting a .714 slugging percentage.
• Walked twice and had an on-base percentage of .522.
• Stole 3 bases.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
