Week 4: AAC Softball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Charlee Mullins of St. Andrews and Bailee Phillips of Tennessee Wesleyan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards is set to be announced on March 18.

AAC Pitcher of the Week

Charlee Mullins - St. Andrews - Senior - Camden, S.C.

  • Went 1-1 with a 1.40 ERA on the week.
  • Recorded a no-hitter in a 2-0 win against Union, walking 4 and striking out 8.
  • Finished the week allowing 3 earned runs on 3 hits and 7 walks with 11 strikeouts in 15 innings of work.
  • This is her first weekly honor this season.

AAC Player of the Week

Bailee Phillips - Tennessee Wesleyan - Junior - Soddy Daisy, Tenn.

  • Batted .857 in helping Tennessee Wesleyan go 1-1 on the week.
  • Went 6-for-7 at the plate with 5 extra-base hits.
  • Hit 3 home runs in 1 game.
  • Drove in 7 runs and scored 4 runs.
  • Had 2 doubles and 3 home runs in posting a 2.429 slugging percentage.
  • Walked 1 time and had an on-base percentage of .875.
  • This is her second weekly award this season.
