Week 3: AAC Softball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Payton Reasons of Bryan and Skyler Monson of Columbia are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards is set to be announced on March 11.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Payton Reasons - Bryan - Junior - Dyersburg, Tenn.
- Went 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA on the week.
- Tossed a complete-game, 1-hit shutout over Columbia.
- Recorded 6 strikeouts and walked 3 in 7 innings of work.
- This is her first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Skyler Monson - Columbia - Senior - Florence, S.C.
- Batted .526 in helping Columbia go 4-2 on the week.
- Drove in 8 runs and scored 6 runs.
- Had 2 doubles and 2 home runs in posting a 1.000 slugging percentage.
- Walked 1 time and had an on-base percentage of .524.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
