Reinhardt Picked to Win the 2024 Softball Championship

WALESKA, Ga. - Reinhardt is the team to beat in the chase for the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) softball championship, according to the AAC coaches' poll released Friday.

The poll was voting by the softball coaches of the AAC.

Reinhardt collected 13 first-place votes in amassing 223 points to secure the top spot. Reinhardt won the 2023 regular-season title, finishing the season with a 26-2 conference records.

Truett McConnell is picked to finish second, garnering one first-place vote and 200 points. Tennessee Wesleyan collected the remaining first-place vote and tallied 186 points to land third. Brenau (185 points) and Johnson (159 points) round out the top five.

The AAC Tournament is set for April 30-May 3 at the Brickyard Ball Fields in Kingsport, Tenn. The top eight teams will participate in the double-elimination tournament.
