Week 11: AAC Softball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Cheyenne Strong of Tennessee Wesleyan and Emily Loveless of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the 11th and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season.

AAC Pitcher of the Week

Cheyenne Strong - Tennessee Wesleyan - Senior - Bluffton, S.C.

Went 4-0 on the week in helping Tennessee Wesleyan win the AAC Tournament.
Named the Tournament MVP.
Allowed 5 earned runs for a 1.35 ERA.
Struck out 35 and walked 2 in 26 innings pitched.
This is her fifth weekly honor this season.

AAC Player of the Week

Emily Loveless - Reinhardt - Junior - Rockmart, Ga.

Batted .353 in helping Reinhardt go 4-2 in the AAC Tournament, finishing as the runner-up.
Named to the All-Tournament Team.
Had 2 home runs, 10 RBI, and scored 7 runs.
Had 1 double and 1 triple for a .882 slugging percentage.
This is her first weekly award this season.
