Thrice as Nice: Life Wins Third Consecutive Men's Wrestling Championship
MARIETTA, Ga. - Life made it three in a row as it won the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Wrestling Championship on Saturday.
The two-day tournament was held at Life in Marietta, Ga.
Life tallied 210 points to edge second-place Southeastern (184 points). Reinhardt finished third with 155 points with St. Thomas (122 points) and Keiser (67 points) rounding out the top five. Making up the rest of the field are Truett McConnell (57) in sixth, Brewton-Parker (45) in seventh, St. Andrews (35) in eighth, WVU Tech (28.5) in ninth, Pikeville (20) in 10th, and Montreat (13) in 11th.
JD Perez of Life was named the AAC Wrestler of the Year, Thaddeus Long of Life is the Wrestler of the Tournament (lightweight class), Tre Morrisette of Life is the Wrestler of the Tournament (heavyweight class); Lee Camp of Reinhardt is the AAC Lightweight Freshman of the Year, Zahquel Davis of Brewton-Parker is the AAC Heavyweight Freshman of the Year, Omi Acosta of Life is the AAC Coach of the Year, and Hayden Lee of Reinhardt is the AAC Assistant Coach of the Year.

The top three finishers in each weight class earn All-AAC Team honors.
