Wrestling Championships Set to Take Place Saturday

LAKELAND, Fla. - The countdown to the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Wrestling Championships is on, as 12 teams battle it out for titles both individual and overall team champion on the campus of Southeastern in Lakeland, Fla., on Saturday, Feb. 17, in the Furnace.
 
The meet gets underway at 10 a.m.
 
The top ­finisher in each weight class at this national qualifying tournament will receive an automatic berth to the 67th Annual NAIA Wrestling National Championships at the Hartman Arena in Park City, Kan., on Feb. 29-March 2.
 
Individual wrestlers can also qualify for the NAIA National Championships by earning at-large bids based on season results, rankings, etc.
 
Championships will be handed out by weight classes, ranging from 125 pounds to 285.
