WALESKA, Ga. - Grant Trotter of Montreat is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Wrestler of the Week.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the fourth edition of the awards for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 22.

AAC Wrestler of the Week
Grant Trotter - Montreat - Sophomore - Anchorage, Alaska

• Went 3-0 overall individually in the 285-pound class on the week as Montreat went 2-1 as a team.
• Posted a 12-2 major decision against Elijah Hester of Truett McConnell.
• Needed only 27 seconds to record a fall versus Parker Cattreal of Bluefield.
• Won his match against WVU Tech as Montreat won the match 58-0.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.
