28 Represent AAC as NAIA Men's Wrestling Scholar Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Men's Wrestling Scholar-Athletes with over 200 student-athletes recognized from 58 schools nationwide. The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) saw 28 of its student-athletes receive the honor.
Life led the AAC with 12 honorees with Southeastern landing six. Montreat and Reinhardt each placed three on the team, while Keiser and Truett McConnell had two apiece.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
