St. Thomas' Collares Earns More National Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Matheus Collares of St. Thomas (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week. He was selected based on his performances from March 10-16 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week 

Matheus Collares, St. Thomas (Fla.) – GR– Setter

• Recorded 124 assists for an average of 13.78 assists per set in two matches
• Had 71 assists in a 3-2 victory over Webber International (Fla.)
• Added 15 digs with three kills and three total blocks for the week
• Aided St. Thomas (Fla.) to wins over Warner (Fla.) and Webber International
• This is the second week in a row he has received this award
