St. Thomas' Ingram, Collares Garner NAIA Top Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kaelen Ingram of St. Thomas (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week, and Matheus Collares of St. Thomas (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 3-9 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
NAIA Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Kaelen Ingram, St. Thomas (Fla.) – SR – Opposite
- Totaled 83 kills in five wins for an average of 5.19 kills per set
- Recorded an attack percentage of .486 with 15 errors on 140 total attacks
- Added 22 digs on the week while also having nine total blocks
- Aided St. Thomas (Fla.) to a perfect 5-0 record last week with wins over Bethel (Ind.), St. John Fisher, RV Campbellsville (Ky.), Viterbo (Wis.) and Governors State (Ill.)
NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week
Matheus Collares, St. Thomas (Fla.) – GR– Setter
- Recorded 196 assists for an average of 12.25 assists per set in three matches
- Dished out a week-high 56 total assists in a 3-2 victory over RV Campbellsville (Ky.)
- Added 28 digs, four kills, and five total blocks to his stat line for the week
- Helped his team to a perfect 5-0 record last week with wins over Bethel (Ind.), St. John Fisher, Campbellsville (Ky.), Viterbo (Wis.) and Governors State (Ill.)
