Reinhardt's Friedberg Named NAIA Field Athlete of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — David Friedberg of Reinhardt (Ga.) has been selected as the NAIA Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. He was selected based on their performances from April 8 - 14 and was selected out of a pool of nominees from across the country.

Players of the week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

David Friedberg, Reinhardt (Ga.) - JR

• Competed in the Berry Field Day Invitational
• Finished first of 26 athletes in the javelin with a mark of 76.08m
• This mark makes him an automatic qualifier for the U.S. Olympic trials
